ATTORNEY AT LAW – PARTNER

Ólafur earned his law degree from University of Iceland in 2005. Having been an associate at a boutique law firm for seven years, Ólafur served as in-house legal counsel at financial institutions for four years before starting his own law practice in 2016. Ólafur was admitted to practice before the Appeal Court in 2020 and joined LAGASTOÐ in 2021.

Ólafur‘s main areas of practice are corporate and commercial law, contract law, real estate law, and planning law. He provides advice to contractors in relation to the drafting of construction contracts, and represents owners, general contractors, subcontractors, and construction managers in various types of dispute resolution processes.
