ATTORNEY AT LAW – SENIOR ASSOCIATE

Margrét Helga is a senior associate in our litigation team. She holds a Master of Law from University of Iceland, from where she graduated in 2013. Margrét Helga first joined LAGASTOÐ in 2013 where she advised on various types of commercial transactions and assisted partners in our litigation team. In 2016 she took on the position of a Law Clerk before becoming an Ad hoc Judge at the District Court of Westfjords. Subsequently, Margrét Helga was Project Manager at the Judicial Administration’s where she oversaw the Court Digital Transformation Strategy.

Margrét Helga specialises in fintech law, data protection law, competition law, corporate and commercial law, administrative law, and insolvency and bankruptcy.
