ATTORNEY AT LAW – PARTNER

Guðbjarni earned his law degree from University of Iceland in 2003. His main areas of practice are corporate and commercial law, employment and labour law, real estate law, planning law, and criminal law. Guðbjarni regularly advises clients on the drafting of commercial agreements and the legal aspects of financial transactions. He is an experienced board member and currently sits on the boards of directors of ORF Genetics and Bioeffect.

Guðbjarni is a seasoned civil litigator and a skilful criminal lawyer. He was admitted to practice before the Supreme Court in 2013 and is frequently instructed by buyers and sellers in disputes concerning real estate where he is assisted by his experience as an ad hoc judge and a court appointed assessor. Guðbjarni joined LAGASTOÐ in 2020.
